The Editorial Team
Social Media Strategy
The Problem
Brand Clarity: There was no explanation on the Instagram or website as to Flux's mission and goal, leading to a lot of confusion on our purpose
Engagement: Many previous posts got little engagement because the target audience was undefined
My Approach
Started interviewing Flux staff and faculty to gain a clear understanding of who they were and their personal interpretations
Targeted posts directly to Flux staff and story subjects, giving people an easy-in to interact with content. Previous years had only focused on the Flux editors, so I emphasized all members to build more community
The Result
Created several posts regarding these interpretations and miscommunications, furthering brand awareness
Posts and stories got frequent reposts by our staff and our schools larger social media accounts, increasing viewership and interactions
